If a PDF has come from a scanner, it's almost guaranteed to have at least one of these problems: a sideways page, a blank page, or pages in the wrong order.
1. Get a page-by-page view first
Open the PDF in a tool that shows page thumbnails so you can spot rotated pages, blanks, duplicates, and pages out of order.
2. Rotate pages
- Open ClarixPDF's organize tool at clarixpdf.com/organize.
- Upload the PDF — you'll see thumbnails of every page.
- Click the rotate icon on any sideways page.
- Repeat for each affected page.
3. Reorder and delete pages
- Reorder: drag thumbnails into the correct sequence.
- Delete: select blank or duplicate pages and remove them.
4. Save and verify
After making changes, scroll through the entire result and confirm the page count matches your expectations.
When to extract pages instead
If you only need a few pages from a large document, use the extract option rather than deleting everything else — it's faster.
