A surprising number of forms can just be filled in on screen instead of printing.
1. Check if the form already has fillable fields
Open the PDF and click where you'd normally write. If boxes highlight and a cursor appears, just click and type. If clicking does nothing, the PDF is flat and needs the next step.
2. Fill a non-interactive form
- Open ClarixPDF's fill tool at clarixpdf.com/fill.
- Upload the PDF.
- Use the text tool to click anywhere and type — this places a text box you can position over each blank line.
- For checkboxes, use the checkmark tool to place a mark in the right spot.
- Save when done.
3. Tips for a clean result
- Match the font size to the surrounding text.
- Zoom in before placing text in tight fields.
- Save progress periodically on long forms.
4. Submitting the completed form
Most forms can be emailed as a PDF attachment or uploaded to a portal. Keep a copy for your own records before sending.
